If you are interested in any aspect of quilting

If you are interested in any aspect of quilting, you are cordially invited to join the Spring Valley Quilt Guild.  Annual dues are currently $10 per year.

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month in the Community Room at the Pendleton Library on Water Street in Pendleton from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Handicapped parking is available.

Our meetings always have enjoyable content.  If it is about quilting it must be enjoyable, right?  Presentations and instructional demonstrations are often on the program.  We always make time for show and tell so we can see what our members have been up to.  Someone is always ready to offer suggestions and tips to help us along with any problems we may be having.  Nobody really knows and it isn't possible to calculate it, but the years of experience of the combined membership must be an astronomical number.

Frequently we make blocks at home to be included in a guild quilt. Written instructions are provided and sometimes material as well.

We have light refreshments at every meeting and a full pitch-ins in July and December each year, when we get a demonstration that our members can certainly cook as well as quilt.

Additionally, a work meeting is often scheduled the second Wednesday of each month for members to get together and work on projects for Riley Children's Hospital or Quilts of Valor.  This work meeting is held in the Community Building inside the Historical Fall Creek Park.

To join just come to a meeting and be welcomed by one of the most friendly groups around.
